Our Mission

Founded in 2021 in the vibrant city of Thessaloniki, Greece, Hippocrates is an innovative educational company committed to offering immersive and life-changing shadowing experiences for aspiring medical professionals and health science enthusiasts. Our mission is simple yet profound: to equip the next generation of medical professionals with the skills, knowledge, and cultural understanding necessary to excel in their future careers.

At Hippocrates, we understand the transformative power of firsthand exposure to the medical profession. Through our carefully curated programs, students have the opportunity to shadow experienced physicians in various specialties, gaining unique insights into the daily routines, challenges, and rewards of a medical practitioner's life.

Our programs vary in duration, ranging from 2 to 4 weeks, and take place over school breaks from May to August and December to February. Specifically designed for English-speaking (pre-) medical and other health science students, our programs provide a comprehensive shadowing experience in both clinical and surgical departments. In addition, we offer opportunities for shadowing in numerous hospitals across the city, further enriching the educational experience.
